How can I give discounts to encourage upsell?

On the checkout page, you can configure your Joonbot to apply an instant discount for a percentage of your choice.

Like in this template, you can go further by making your Joonbot calculate automatically the money saved for your customer.

With the money saved with the discount, Joonbot can recommend a product at that equivalent rate. This allows the customer to buy more products at the same amount they were about to spend.

Can Joonbot do product recommendations via the upsell chatbot?

In this template, the product recommendation happens based on the amount saved from the discount being applied to the cart’s value.

In this chatbot template, the customer gets 20% discount, so the chatbot recommends a ring that is worth 15€ that fits the discounted value. If the user saves 100€, the chatbot could recommend a different product with a higher value.
